Online Qualitative Research Workspace

Head Space is our state-of-the art online qualitative research facility, which we use for real-time online webcam focus groups, triads, dyads, in-depth-interviews (IDIs), remote usability testing and asynchronous bulletin board projects. Head Space is highly flexible and is customized specifically for the needs of each online project.

SOME OF THE FEATURES OF OUR HEAD SPACE PLATFORM:

  •   The ability for clients to virtually observe online sessions in a similar fashion to that of traditional focus groups, without being seen by respondents and without having to travel.
  •   The ability for clients to interact with each other during research sessions, and to send real-time notes to the moderator.
  •   Full digital audio, video and text chat recordings as well as recording of all screen interactions of research sessions.
  •   The ability to allow a respondent to use remotely installed software without needing to have the software installed on their computer.
  •   The ability to display multi-media stimuli, real-time polling, sorting, white-boarding, etc.
  •   Simultaneous translation into any language.
  •   The ability to easily locate time-coded video clips of recorded content for use in reports and presentations.

Head Space can easily be customized to capture rich qualitative feedback for visual materials, such as advertising concepts. Head Space can also be used for ethnographic "deep dives" into the environments and minds of target audiences. Respondents have access to their own personal space or a group space in which they can upload pictures, video, keep diaries and use many other tools to document their environments, opinions, experiences and feelings over longer periods of time.
